The Kitchen
While coffee and tea are provided by the Inn, guests are are responsible for providing their own food, and are welcome to use the charming kitchen for preparation. The kitchen is a shared space, thus I ask my guests to clean up after themselves promptly so that others can also use the space. There is a dishwasher, stove, oven, rocket blender, champion juicer, kitchen aid, toaster, microwave (on the porch), waffle maker, electric hot water kettle, french press and cup drip filters for coffee, a french press for tea, a selection of coffee and teas provided, basic condiments available, guest refrigerators (on the porch), cupboard space for food storage, pots, pans, and utensils…. all for shared use. I ask that guests use designated recycling, compost, and keep food and meat waste out of the trash. (I will let you know what you can do with it.)
The Great Room
This room is adaptable to many needs. It has hosted a sit down dinner for 30, held house concerts, and many large group meetings. It has been a workshop and classroom. And when the rug is rolled up, a dance floor is revealed.
The Parlor
In the cooler months of the year, the parlor draws the attention. It is home to the wood stove /hearth. It is great place to get cozy and read, knit, or watch a movie with the digital projector and large screen. One corner houses shelves and shelves of books, various board games and puzzles. A piano and other musical instruments are resting around the room just waiting to be played.
